Private heritage railway near London. It runs for 6.5 miles through unspoilt Essex countryside and forest, between 2 original 1865 stations. Offering exclusive use of railway and access to a range of period locomotives, train carriages, buses and other vintage vehicles. Two different sized stations which have been restored into differing time periods - first station is 1880-1930s period, second station represents the small branch line stations that used to be common throughout the country. It is set at the top of a sweeping approach road, and has been accurately restored to the 1940-1970’s period. This station has a cosy booking hall, ticket office and even a small Ladies Waiting Room.
