Thornhill Moss & Meadows NNR is a valley mire and a remnant of a formerly large area of wetland created by two waterways- Holme Dub and Crummock Beck. Sits within a relatively undeveloped landscape which maintains a sense of isolation and tranquillity. (Allerdale, Cumbria)
