Lindisfarne Natural Nature Reserve wraps all around the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Sand, beach, mudflats, sand dunes, huge skies, vast seascapes. The metal road that links Lindisfarne Island to the main land at low water is under the local councils remit and the Holy Island is National Trust property - anything wet and sandy is NNR.
